Who is Ezidebit?

Ezidebit is a provider of payment solutions, enabling Australian and New Zealand businesses looking to offer more payment options to their clients and automate current billing / payment practices.

Does Ezidebit have an Australian Financial Services Licence?

Yes. We were the first direct debit provider licensed by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) as an Australian Financial Services Licensee (AFSL No. 315388).

How is my money protected?

All customer payments are deposited into a Trust Account before being transferred directly into your nominated bank account. As an Australian Financial Service Licensee, we are required to have our company independently audited and reviewed each year.

What other compliance does Ezidebit adhere to?

Ezidebit is a Direct Debit User and complies with the Direct Debit User requirements as provided by our sponsoring financial institution. These requirements are based on the Australian Payments Network Bulk Electronic Clearing System Procedures.

Why are my customers' payments failing?

Can I add my company logo to DDR forms?

Yes. You are able to apply your business logo to your Direct Debit Request Forms. You can add your logo to your forms within the EziOnline portal, under the 'Admin' tab.

Can I review my customers' payment history?

Yes. You are able to view your customers payment schedule and history, including all previous successful or failed payments within EziOnline.

Why are my customers' payments failing?

Payments can fail for a number of reasons including insufficient funds, incorrect details or an account that is unable to be used for direct debit. Ezidebit relies on the response received by your customers bank when requesting payments. When payments does fail, a failed payment reason is provided by your customers bank.

To update your payment schedule or payment details, you will need to contact the business that you have authorised the direct debit agreement with directly.

Ezidebit is a payments service that many Australian and New Zealand businesses use to collect payments from their customers. In some cases, Ezidebit will appear on your statement instead of the business's name.
