BPAY payments are usually available for settlement the next business day after a customer makes a payment. If you have elected for a weekly settlement of your funds, your BPAY payments will be deposited with your other payments.

To ensure your customers recognise the BPAY brand, all participating merchants / billers must adhere to the BPAY Branding and Logo Requirements. You need to clearly display the following information within your payment information section on invoices: The BPAY Logo, BPAY Biller Code and Customer BPAY Reference Number. All Logos and Templates can be found directly on the BPAY Website in a variety of formats to best suit your requirements.

Unfortunately, no. BPAY is an Australian payment method and is not available for payments outside of Australia.

What is a CRN?

What is a CRN?

A CRN (Customer Reference Number) is a unique number to identify each BPAY payment you receive. We provide a CRN generator, so you can generate as many CRNs as you need for your customers. You can use the CRN to identify a customer, or a specific invoice for a customer.  Using your biller code and their CRN, your customer can make a payment directly to your business and the customer's payment can be identified by their unique CRN so that you can reconcile payments received.

What if my customer makes a mistake with their BPAY Payment?

If your customer makes a mistake with their payment, for example either using the wrong biller code or CRN or accidentally paying the same bill twice, they will need to contact their financial institution directly to remedy any errors.

Is BPAY secure?

Yes, all BPAY payments are made within your customer's internet or phone banking for their financial institution. BPAY payments do not capture any personal or account details during the payment process (except the type of bank account, or debit/credit card used).
